As people mature in age, dietary restrictions begin to come in. These lines are often heard: less sugar, less fat, less of this … less of that. It can be frustrating at times, but not much can be done about it simply because it’s for the better. These dietary restrictions, however, does not mean that those who are getting mature in age can no longer enjoy delicious and great-tasting food such as ice cream, because that will never be true. They still can, and in fact, In fact, there are ice creams sold in grocery stores that are low in caloric content.

For your ingredients, they are very basic. You will need milk, heavy cream, and healthy sweeteners such as honey or other healthy sugar substitutes.

You can prepare fruits and nuts as additional flavorings or enhancers to your ice cream. Apples, strawberries, nuts, peaches, bananas, and a lot more other fruits that are in season are ideal.

It is very important to follow the manufacturer’s direction on the use of the ice cream machine, so be sure you have read it in advance. When it’s done, place the ice cream in a container, preferably plastic, and then put in the freezer.
